1963 Bicentennial Celebration in Machias, Maine

There were so many activities that year! Men grew beards. Men, women and children dressed in colonial attire. I’m sitting in the front row with a wide grin, second from the right. There are so many familiar faces!

  1. Shucks, I did not get to meet LUBEC til 1969. Wicked shame I could have had my Dad bring me to this from OHIO.
    My Ohio car plate said: LUBEC !! This was a very festive affair with all the fotos & books I have on it at my place
    in Machias: Jims Books.
